U.S. Congressman Paul Tonko addressing the community members at the event.

The Block Center hosted a Don’t Block the Truth event on Monday: Serve and Protect – Building Positive Police-Community Relations. Thanks to our partners at the Troy Police Department, the Sanctuary for Independent Media, the New York Civil Liberties Union, and CEO YouthBuild, and our young people and mentors, who generously volunteered their time and effort to make the event happen.
